352. Huehuetenango-Guatemala.

Our first offering from Guatemala in years, this particular lot hails from the famous Huehuetenango growing region.  Coffee here is produced by small family farms that typically cultivate two acres or less and intersperse their coffee crop with corn and beans.  Because the Producers have very little infrastructure to process their own coffee, they have partnered with an export company called Unitrade which has a centrally located wet mill where all of the coffee is washed and dried.

In the cup, this beautifully balanced and sweet coffee has both aroma and tasting notes of nougat, dark chocolate, and apricot-like stone fruits.
